Welcome back! On behalf of the Spoede School Association (SSA), we hope you and your families had a fun and restful summer. As we begin a new school year, we are excited to reconnect, refocus, and continue to promote our awesome school community.

Each school year brings new opportunities—for our students to learn and grow, for our teachers and staff to inspire and guide, and for us, as parents, to support and engage in meaningful ways. The SSA plays a key role in this collaboration, and we are looking forward to another year of awesome events, volunteering, and community building.

Whether you’re a returning family or new to Spoede, we encourage you to get involved. Our upcoming meetings and events are designed to foster community, enhance student life, and support our incredible educators. Every voice matters, and we always welcome your ideas, energy, and participation!

Together, we can make this year a rewarding and memorable experience for our children.

Volunteer Opportunities

Grants funded by the SSA 2024-25

 All families are invited to come to Spoede to meet their classroom teacher, visit their classrooms, and drop off their school supplies.

3:45 - 4:30 pm - New-to-Spoede (PreK - 4th Grade Students Welcome) Family Orientation*

4:30 - 5:15 pm - Pre-K, Kindergarten, & 1st Grade Students & Families

5:15 - 6:00 pm - 2nd, 3rd, & 4th Grade Students & Families

If you have children in grades Pre-K, K, or 1 and 2-4, please try to come during the early time slot: 4:30 - 5:15 pm.

All students should stay with their families for the duration of the event. 

*This optional orientation - for any students and families brand-new to Spoede - will be held in the cafeteria and hosted by our school counseling team and some members of our Spoede School Parent Association (SSA). Come to meet some of our other new families, our SSA leadership, ask questions, and more!

Join the SSA and other Spoede parents in the cafeteria after drop-off on the first day of school to sob--or celebrate--the start of the new school year!
