There will be bounce houses, yard games, painting pumpkins, bookmobile, treat/drink food trucks, a completed pavilion with shade, and MORE!

Spoede Outdoor Pavilion is Complete!

Check out this beauty! After much anticipation, our outdoor pavilion is complete and officially approved for use!

Thank you to our generous donors and the dedication of the SSA, Spoede Elementary, and the Ladue School District to see this project through from vision to reality!

Teacher Sign-Up Parties

Most teacher sign-up parties are sold out!

A few spots remain for the 4th grade teacher party and "Lights, Camera, Spoede! Be a guest speaker on the Spoede Broadcast" for Kinder and 3rd grade only.

Dance-a-Thon 2025 was a SMASHING SUCCESS!

Dear Spoede Families, Community Members, and Sponsors,

We are absolutely overflowing with gratitude and joy! Thanks to the generosity, kindness, and support of our amazing Spoede families, our dedicated community members, and our incredible local sponsors, the totals are in—and together, we did it!

We are thrilled to announce that we not only reached our fundraising goal… we exceeded it! Through individual donations, business sponsorships, food sales, and teacher parties, we raised an astounding $66,000!

This accomplishment is so much more than a number. It’s a reflection of the love, commitment, and teamwork that make our Spoede community so special. Every donation, every helping hand, and every word of encouragement played an important role in this success, and we truly could not have done this without you.

Ladue Homecoming Events

TODAY Monday, Sept. 29 | Homecoming Parade, Powderpuff Game, Blue & White Night Football Game, Bonfire

5 p.m. Parade starts at LMS and will travel west up Conway Road, making a left onto Warson Road to finish up at the LHWHS football field.

Spectators should line the streets on the north side of Conway Road and the west side of Warson Road for viewing.

Following the parade, join us as we cheer on the Powderpuff game, recognize fall athletes, and announce the Homecoming Court.

The Blue & White Night game will begin at 7 p.m. 

The evening will wrap up with a bonfire!

Tuesday, Sept. 30 | Home Contests for Girls Volleyball, Girls Tennis, and C Team Soccer

Come to the Nielson Gym to watch girls volleyball take on Mehlville! JV and Freshman will play at 4:15 p.m., with varsity to follow at 5:30 p.m.

Varsity Tennis will take on Clayton at Ladue Middle School at 4:15 p.m.

C Team soccer will take on Francis Howell in the stadium at 7 p.m.

Friday, Oct. 3 | Homecoming Football Game

The Ladue Rams football team hosts Parkway Central at 7 p.m. for Homecoming! Purchase your tickets online now!

Saturday, Oct. 4 | Home Contests for Boys Soccer

Come to the football stadium to watch boys soccer take on Webster Groves! C Team will play at 9 a.m., JV at 10:30 a.m., and Varsity at 12 p.m.

Kids Night Out at Olympia Supports SSD

Olympia and the Special Education Foundation are teaming up to provide critical hearing support to students in the Special School District with Kids Night Out events on Oct. 4, 10, 11, and 18.

Math Facts Scholars

Morning quiz sessions every Tuesday at 8:10 a.m.

Math Fact Scholars is a program offered through Spoede that is made up of at home practice books and Tuesday morning quiz sessions for students currently in 1st through 4th grades. (Kindergarten students are welcome to join in January!)

Return New Spoede Turtle Yard Sign

Attention Kindergarten Families: Please return the "Home of a new Spoede Turtle" yard signs to the box by Spoede's front door.

The SSA reuses these signs every year to reduce costs and waste.

Stock the Lounge for Spoede Teachers

Help us show our appreciation for Spoede's amazing teachers and staff! We're stocking the lounge with snacks and drinks to keep them fueled throughout the day, all year long. Each month has a different theme.
