Students are officially dismissed from school at 1:15 PM. 

Carpool vehicles will be allowed on the Spoede lot at 1:00 PM.

Please share this information with anyone who will be picking up students via carpool. 

If you need to pick your child up early, please do so before 12:45 PM. 

The SSA invites all ghosts & goblins to join us on Friday, October 24 from 6:00–7:30 PM in the front Spoede parking lot for an evening of trunk-or-treating!

🎃Vehicle Participants: 65 parking spots available. Decorate your trunk and hand out candy. Bring enough candy for 300–400 children.

🎃Prizes: awarded to the best and most creative trunks—so go all out!

🎃 Pizza Orders: Costco 18" cheese pizzas are available for $15 each. Pick up your order at the start of the event.

Help the SSA support our Spoede superhero teachers during Parent/Teacher Conference Nights on Tuesday, October 14 and Wednesday, October 15!

The SSA Executive Board meets monthly on a Tuesday morning after drop-off at 8:50 a.m. in the Spoede Cafeteria. These are open meetings. If you are interested in getting more involved with the SSA, have ideas to share, or are just curious, please join us!

Meeting dates for 2025-26 are 10/7, 11/11, 12/9, 1/13, 2/10, 3/10, 4/14, and 5/12.

Olympia and the Special Education Foundation are teaming up to provide critical hearing support to students in the Special School District with Kids Night Out events on Oct. 4, 10, 11, and 18.

Morning quiz sessions every Tuesday at 8:10 a.m.

Math Fact Scholars is a program offered through Spoede that is made up of at home practice books and Tuesday morning quiz sessions for students currently in 1st through 4th grades. (Kindergarten students are welcome to join in January!)
