Classroom Friendship Parties will be held on Thursday, February 12, from 2:15–3:15 PM.

Parents who are coming to set up in preparation for classroom parties may come to Spoede beginning at 2:00 PM. Otherwise, if you are planning on attending your child’s classroom party (but not helping to set up), you may enter the school beginning at 2:15 PM. 

All visitors will be required to sign-in before proceeding to their child(ren)’s classroom(s).

The SSA will provide snacks and drinks for the parties. Please do not send candy or food with your child’s valentines.

Students may leave with their parents at the conclusion of their class party, but any student(s) leaving early must be signed out by the parent. 

Party attendees are welcome to park in the inner parking lot, the outer ring surrounding the inner lot, and any open spaces in the bus drop-off circle.

All Spoede families are invited to host a table at Spoede's annual Passport Night.

Passport Night is a wonderful event where families can showcase their culture, countries of origin, and favorite destinations. Please join in on this experience of rich tradition, history, and the wonders of our world through food, music, and interactive exhibits! 

Big or small-- there is no right or wrong way to host a table! We would love it if you would join us!

If so, the Spoede School Association (SSA) needs you! The SSA has various positions open for next academic year. Attend our next meeting on February 10 or contact ssaexecboard@gmail.com to find out more.

The SSA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that works to enhance, support, and improve the educational experience at Spoede Elementary.

Spoede Book Fair will be the week of February 23!

Volunteers are needed to set up the fair, assist with sales during class library times, assist during movie night, and take down the fair.

In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Spoede is participating in an MLK Service Project to support Little Bit Foundation.

Donation bins will be located in the wet labs for each grade level. We encourage families to participate and help our students practice service and kindness in our community.

We invite families to drop in, meet with program providers, and find the perfect fit for an exciting summer.

This free event is designed to empower our students to achieve their highest potential by connecting families with a wide range of summer programs, including STEAM and nature-based activities. From enriching camps to summer jobs for teens, this fair has it all as you begin daydreaming about warmer weather and long summer days, making it the perfect place to start your planning.

Lou Fusz Lacrosse is focused on developing ALL players, teaching the sport and having FUN! Practices will be at Lou Fusz Athletic Complex in Creve Coeur.
